Remake Learning Days: Mote SEA

Celebrate Earth Day with the Sarasota Children’s Museum at an interactive evening of hands-on environmental exploration!
Join us at Mote SEA alongside Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and WEDU PBS for a special Remake Learning Day experience featuring a screening of Wild Kratts: Our Blue and Green World, a creature scavenger hunt, and engaging indoor and outdoor activities.
At the Sarasota Children’s Museum station, families will explore Florida’s ecosystems through hands-on STEAM experiences focused on seed dispersal, habitats, and conservation.
Children will rotate through activity stations where they will:
🌱 Create seed nuggets
💨 Experiment with wind dispersal
🐾 Discover how animals help move seeds throughout nature
These activities connect core science concepts to real-world environmental impact and encourage kids to think about sustainability and protecting Florida’s unique ecosystems.
Designed for children ages 4–8 and their families, but all are welcome.
Come celebrate our planet, spark curiosity, and learn through play!
