About the Event
All aboard! Join the Sarasota Children’s Museum for a playful, hands-on experience as families get ready to “chug” into kindergarten.
As part of the South County Kickoff for Kindergarten, we’ll be bringing interactive train-themed activities designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and make learning fun for young children preparing for their school journey.
At our station, children will:
🚂 Build and explore with hands-on train activities
📖 Engage with a train-themed story provided by the school district
🧠 Practice early learning skills through play
These experiences help children develop creativity, problem-solving, and excitement for starting school — all through joyful, hands-on exploration.
This event is perfect for rising kindergarteners and their families.
